Introducing Trendy Tags

It’s time to introduce the November Stamp of the Month from Clear & Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Trendy Tags—a set that includes two different sizes of tags plus a bunch of great sentiments to use with them. There’s also a coordinating set called Taglines that’s full of additional seasonal images and sentiments that will work perfectly with the tags from the Trendy Tags set or on their own.

This project shows off images from both sets. I was going for a masculine look with this clean and simple design. I started by cutting a tag from Kraft Like a Rockstar cardstock using the large die from the Tags 1 set. I stamped the dashed line image on the tag in Dish All the Dirt Brown ink—the images are made to fit inside the die cut with a border around them, so they’re really easy to line up and stamp. The “ur a star” sentiment is from the Taglines set. It’s stamped in Party Teal Dawn ink on a strip of Simply Blue-tiful cardstock and attached to the tag. I added a trio of different sized silver stars (2 brads and a wooden one) to the tag as accents. A piece of gray twill is threaded through the hole in the top of the tag and secured with a little linen thread. I set the panel on a piece of striped patterned paper that’s machine stitched to a kraft card base.

I’ll have more samples featuring images from these two sets and the coordinating dies throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Trendy Tags and Taglines stamp sets. Here’s where to find them:
