Clear and Simple Stamps Collection 2 Release

It’s release day at Clear and Simple Stamps! We’re thrilled to show off the brand new baby themed collection full of stamps and coordinating dies. Collection 2 features a whopping 41 new products! You’ll find a fun mix of images and sentiments, plus lots of great background builders, along with an assortment of dies that coordinate with the images or can be used for packaging or decorating purposes.

My project today shows off a mix of the new stamps and dies all used together for a great baby gift. I’ve seen sets of preprinted onesies or sets of stickers to attach to onesies that parents use to mark the monthly growth of their babies in photographs. I thought that the products from this release would be perfect for making my own set.

I started out by making the monthly labels using some circular scallop edged self-adhesive labels I found at the craft store. To decorate the labels, I stamped two of the circle frame images from the Shapes: Circles stamp and coordinating die set on the labels, then stamped the word “months” inside the circle along with a number from 1-12.

To present them (and keep them organized!), I made a box from the Party Favor 2 die. I added a contrasting dotted paper panel to the top and wrapped it with white satin ribbon. I made a tiny tag with a onesie stamp from the Onesie Decorating set (perfect if you're having a onesie decorating shower!) and a “1-12 months” label on it to attach to the box top. The fun dotted numbers are from the new Alpha Dots set. The labels are cut apart into squares and placed inside the box, ready to be peeled off and put to use.

A gift like this isn’t complete without a onesie (or two or three!), so I packaged up a single onesie using the new Party Favor 4 die. It fits perfectly! I cut the box and slide-on lid from Party Teal Dawn cardstock and wrapped a band of green dotted cardstock around the center for contrast. A piece of white satin ribbon is threaded through the slits in the top and knotted. I added a tag, cut with the Tags 1 die, to the ribbon. It’s decorated with a die cut onesie made with a die from the Tiny Fashions die set and stamped with matching outline image from the coordinating Tiny Fashions stamp set. The set's “baby couture” sentiment finishes the tag.
