TCPTuesday 203-Hoppy Easter

It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and this for week’s color challenge, I’ve brought you a challenge that includes this year’s color of the year as crowned by Pantone—Tangerine Tango. We’re combining the orangey tangerine shade with sky blue and lime green for a fun spring color palette.

I used the Sugar, Sugar set from the last release for my seasonal card. The bunny image is colored with Copic markers and cut out, then layered on a light blue panel using foam tape. I left enough room at the top of the panel to stamp the set’s “Hoppy Easter” sentiment.

I used the CutUps Lacy Floral Doily die to cut a panel from green cardstock. It’s backed with white cardstock and set on a blue and white plaid panel. I added a strip of ribbon and an orange Big Scallop Border die cut along the bottom of the doily, then set the image panel on top at an angle. A lime green button, threaded with green baker’s twine, finishes it off.

I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge to celebrate this year's color of the year--and for your chance to win some Cat Cash. Just upload your project to the photo album on Alma’s blog to enter—and be sure to keep an eye out for the links to the rest of the Cat Pack’s projects that she’ll be posting throughout the week.
