Hoppy Day

***Scroll down to the post below to see my card for this month's Clear and Simple Stamps design team group project post.***

Here's a sweet little springy card that combines this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to show off something you'd find in an Easter basket along with this week's sketch from Retro Sketches. I love this week's sketch--probably because I've used it, or variations on it, quite a few times already!

I used the big bunny image from the Best Bunnies set from Clear and Simple Stamps as my focal image. I colored the bunny just a bit with Copic markers--a very pale blue marker around the bunny's edges really makes its white fur pop.

The bunny's set on a fun multicolored dotted panel that I machine stitched to an olive green panel. I did a little creative stamping of some of the sentiments from the Icon Extras stamp set to create the "hoppy day" sentiment for the pink notch-edged sentiment strip. The panel's set on a pink square card base that matches the sentiment strip.

Materials Used:
Best Bunnies and Icon Extras stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress and Paint the Town Pink inks, I'm a Princess Pink, Kraft Like a Rockstar Green, and A Blanc Check cardstock, Copic markers- B000, R000, R20, R21 (Clear and Simple Stamps); Hey Birdie 6x6 paper pad (KaiserCraft); sewing machine; foam tape
