It's Clear to See

Here's my card for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use punches or dies.  I combined the challenge with stamps from the challenge sponsor, Lawn Fawn, and this week's Clean and Simple Stamping sketch to create this sweet card.

I used the Clear to See set for my focal image, stamping one of the set's pairs of glasses in red ink on white cardstock, then shading the lenses with pale blue markers before cutting out the image.  I attached a strip of heart patterned paper to the middle of a light blue card base, then added the "it's clear to see  you're the one for me" sentiment on a die cut notch-edged strip.  The glasses are attached at the left end of the sentiment using dimensional dots.  Once they were securely in place, I coated the lenses with Glossy Accents to get a glass-like look.

To create a whimsical accent for the glasses, I looked through my collection of dies to find the tiniest heart die I had.  Once I found it, I cut a trio of hearts from red felt and scattered them above the glasses to emphasize the message in the sentiment.
