HB2U Fungi

Here's my card for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use two circles in your design.  I used a Clear and Simple Stamps set with a punny sentiment for this masculine birthday card.

I used the Fun Fungi stamp set and matching dies to create the mushroom pair that's the card's focal image.  The mushrooms are colored with Copic markers and attached to a cork circle (circle #1) with foam tape.  I attached a panel of patterned paper to a kraft card base, then layered the cork circle over that.  The set's "HB2U" sentiment is stamped directly on the patterned paper in brown ink.

For my second circle, I used a brown button to accent the patterned paper panel.  The button's tied to a  piece of cream twill using a piece of twine. It's hard to figure out how to embellish a masculine card, but I've found that you can't go wrong with cork, twine, and twill!

Materials Used:
Fun Fungi stamp set, Fun Fungi Simple Cuts dies, Dish All the Dirt Brown ink, Kraft Like a Rockstar and On the Catwalk Cream cardstock, On the Catwalk Cream twill, Brown Leather Satchel button (Clear and Simple Stamps); Stella & Rose-Mabel paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); markers (Copic-W00, W-1, W-3, W-5, YG95); cork (Creative Impressions); circle die (Spellbinders); twine (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
