Party Time

Summertime's a big time for fun parties and gatherings and the newest releases from Clear and Simple Stamps are perfect for adding a festive and personalized touch to all of your events.  Today I have a few ideas to dress up your table and your treats for a party.

Here's a simple table setting idea.  I used the new Toppers Fillers stamp set and a matching die along with stamps from the Favor Flags Fillers set (and matching dies, too!).  Even though the Toppers die set is designed to be used for "toppers" for treat bags, I found that by simply snipping the bottom of the back of one of the folded large toppers, you could create a base for a simple place card that would stand on its own.  I stamped the trendy chevron image in green ink on a white die cut piece, then added a matching green Favor Flags die cut piece stamped with a guest's name using the Alpha Modern set.  The strip's accented with a baker's twine tied green button.

I made a silverware wrap from a strip of green cardstock wrapped around some plasticware, then wrapped again with a Favor Flags die cut piece stamped with a smaller scale chevron image from the Favor Flags Fillers set. And, I made a fun pennant for a straw with another of the Favor Flags.  It's set in a mason jar filled with some refreshing lemonade.

Materials Used:
Toppers Fillers, Favor Flags Fillers, and Alpha Modern stamp sets, Green with Envy ink, Green with Envy and A Blanc Check cardstock, Toppers 1 and Favor Flags dies,  Green with Envy button, Divine Twine green baker's twine (Clear and Simple Stamps)

And, no party's complete without treats and favors, so I whipped up a few of those, too, using the same sets and dies.  My treats are jelly bean filled clear bags, a new product now available from CSS in several sizes.

The toppers are made with the Toppers Fillers stamp set.  The images are stamped on matching die cut pieces using ink colors to match the jelly bean assortment in the bags.  All of the bags say "goodie" on them--the word's stamped directly on the toppers on the smaller bags and on a banner die cut on the larger bag's topper.  I can think of tons of treats that would look fantastic packaged inside these clear bags . . .

Materials Used:
Toppers Fillers and Favor Flags stamp sets, Say Yellow to All your Fans, Creamsicle Cardigan, and Paint the Town Pink inks, A Blanc Check cardstock, Favor Flags and Toppers 1 dies, clear treat bags-designer mix (Clear and Simple Stamps)
