Making a Halloween Scene

This week’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge is to make a scene. I paired one of my Moonlight Whispers Halloween stamps with this week’s CPS sketch for this somewhat spooky card.

I used Zelda the Zombie for my focal image. She’s colored with Copic markers. To make the scene, I used a multiliner pen to draw in a sidewalk beneath her feet and my airbrush to make a soft purple nighttime sky around her. The moon at the upper left corner of the image panel’s a crescent shape debossed with a dotted pattern and sprayed with a little shimmer spray for a sparkly look.

I used some older Echo Park Halloween papers for the panels on the cardfront. A piece of orange twill is stretched along the length of the cardfront and accented with a knotted piece. Since the panels take up most of the space on the cardfront, I decided not to stamp a sentiment on the front. I’ll add something appropriately spooky when I’m ready to send this one off!

Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Zelda the Zombie stamp set (Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Frost Shimmer Spritz (Tsukineko); markers, black multiliner pen (Copic); Green Galore, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Elegant Eggplant cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Happy Halloween Collection Kit (Echo Park); 1 ¾” circle punch (EK Success); Polka Dot embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); orange twill (Michaels); foam tape
