This month's Papertrey Ink blog hop challenge is all about autumn patterns, textures, and textiles. I went with a masculine feel with rich fall colors for my texture-filled creation using this week's sketch from I Spy Sketches.
The "falling for you" sentiment from the Falling Leaves stamp set is
stamped in brown ink on a kraft notch-ended strip and attached to the
striped panel. I die cut an acorn from felt using the Autumn Acorn die, then stamped the matching images on the die cut piece to give it definition. I used kraft ink for the bottom of the acorn and brown for the cap. It's attached it to the end of the kraft strip and accented with a twine threaded Fine Linen button.
