Release in Review: Rag Dolls

Release in review week continues today at Clear and Simple Stamps with a look at the newest addition to the CSS family, the Rag Doll line. After yesterday’s super feminine project grouping, I decided to go in a completely different direction today and create something geared for little boys.

I used the Rag Doll Jake: Cool stamp and die set to make a simple party invitation. Instead of having Jake lean against a sentiment, he’s leaning on the beach ball from the Beach Bum stamp set with the party sentiment from the Rag Doll Chloe: Banner set beneath it. I colored Jake with Copic markers to match the orange patterned paper and the green dotted decorative tape I used on the cardfront.

To go with the invitation, I made a coordinating cupcake wrapper and topper and a sweet party favor treat. To tie the set together, I used the same patterned paper for the cupcake wrapper as I used on the cardfront—and the same ball image on the topper, too. The party favor is some gumballs in one of CSS’s new treat bags dressed up with a Topper die cut piece. I did a little creative stamping to get the “have a ball” sentiment on the Favor Flag die cut strip!

Don’t miss what the rest of the CSS team has created with the Rag Doll sets and dies. Here’s where to find them:
