Cheers

Here’s my card for today’s SCS sketch challenge. It came together quickly with a two step stamped image from the By the Glass set from Clear and Simple Stamps.

I filled the large panel with wine glasses, stamping the outline image repeatedly in black ink in a staggered pattern, then going back and filling in the glass with the solid image in a golden yellow ink. I added a bit of glitter to one of the glasses to make it stand out from the rest. The panel is layered on a piece of golden yellow cardstock, then on a piece of black cardstock for a nice pop.

I used two pieces of coordinating patterned papers on the cardfront—a golden yellow dotted one to cover most of the black card base and an off white chevron patterned one for the panel underneath the image. The stamped panel is layered on top of these along with the “cheers” sentiment from the By the Glass Sentiments set. The sentiment’s matted on a strip of silver cardstock and accented with some wrapped silver cord for a little sparkle.

Materials Used:
By the Glass and By the Glass Sentiments stamp sets, Golden Tiara and Perfect Little Black Dress inks, Golden Tiara, Perfect Little Black Dress, and A Blanc Check cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Recollections silver paper, silver lamé cord (Michaels); The Sweetest Thing-Honey 6x6 paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); Dazzling Diamonds (Stampin’ Up!)
