Simple Holiday Cheer

***Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for today's Color Throwdown!***

Here’s a quick, scrappy card for today’s SCS sketch challenge. I (still) have a bunch of die cut white felt doves left over from my holiday card from several years ago, so I put one to use to make this simple holiday card.

The two panels at the top of the card are made from scraps of embossed silver paper (maybe left over from the same old holiday card design . . .), matted on navy cardstock, then attached to the top of the blue card base. I used some ScorTape to attach the die cut dove, then stamped the "sending holiday cheer" sentiment in navy ink on the cardfront under one of the patterned paper panels.  Simple, but it gets the message across!

Materials Used:
Fillable Frames #9 stamp set, Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening cardstock, Peace Be Still die set (Papertrey Ink); silver paper (Michaels); Memento Nautical Blue ink (Tsukineko); snowflake embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); blue crystal; white felt
