Blogger Challenge: Week 287

This week’s blogger challenge theme is “food for thought.” I put together a little box that is just the right size for a pair of Ghirardelli chocolate squares--yum!

The box is made by scoring a red cardstock square and making a few cuts and folds. After securing the ends with some ScorTape, I adhered red and white striped patterned paper panels to each side of the box to dress it up a bit. I placed the candies inside the box, then added a simple top for the box made from a piece of clear acetate.

I made a tag and stamped it with the "holiday cheer" sentiment from the Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler set. It's accented with a small clear crystal.  The tag is attached to the card with some red baker's twine that I wrapped around the box a few times.  I added a candy cane, too, for a festive touch.

For more food for thought ideas, check out the link list below. And, feel free to create your own new project and add it to the list.
