Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 273-Raise a Little Cane

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to create this  fun wintery design.

I used one of the seasonal bunny images from The Cat’s Pajamas as my focal image. The bunny’s colored with Copic markers. I added a little white flock to the bunny’s hat for a little texture—it shows up so much better IRL!

I used two different patterned papers from a Carta Bella paper pad for the big panels on the cardfront. I usually wouldn’t mix red and rosy pink, but it seems to work okay on the papers, so I gave it a shot! The strip of solid rose cardstock is edged with a sparkly silver scalloped piece for some festive shine. I stamped the set’s “raise a little cane this holiday season” on a white tab and added it to the card with the edge just underneath the image panel.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers and our special guest stamper, Danielle Lounds, have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
