Blogger Challenge: Week 289

***If you're here for my Season's Giving post, scroll down or click HERE.***

This week’s blogger challenge theme is “celebration.” I combined the challenge theme with this week’s CAS-ology cue word, “new,” to create this clean and simple baby card with stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps.

I made a simple scene with one of the storks from the Special Bundle set as the focal image. I die cut the stork from white cardstock and added just a little color with Copic markers, then used foam tape to add the image to the blue card base. The image is grounded with some strips of green dotted washi tape “grass.” I used CSS’s black ink to stamp the stork’s legs--the ink took nicely on the tape and dried completely so the image doesn’t smear. I added the die cut bundle image, stamped with the matching outline and solid images, to the stork’s bill, then stamped the “special delivery” sentiment next to the image.

Materials Used:
Special Bundle stamp set, Perfect Little Black Dress and Green with Envy inks, My Style Blueprint and A Blanc Check cardstock, Copic markers (YR12, YR15, Y35, W00, W-1, W-3), Special Bundle dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); decorative tape; foam tape
