Woo-hoo!

Here’s my card for the current Lawnscaping challenge to be inspired by winter. I just love Lawn Fawn’s Winter Bunny set and it's perfect for the challenge!

I made a simple scene, using some blue patterned paper with white dots as a snowy background and torn shimmery white cardstock strips as snowbanks. Once the scene was set, I adhered the colored and trimmed bunny image with dimensional dots.

For a sentiment, I used the “woo-hoo!” from the Critters in the Forest set. It’s like the bunny’s letting out a shout of joy as he/she flies across the snow! It’s stamped in black ink next to the stamped image. A pair of coordinating decorative tape strips fills in the empty space at the top right side of the card and adds a bit of bold color to the simple design.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Winter Bunny and Critters in the Forest stamp sets, X-Press white Copic blending cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (R12, R22, R24, R27, E41, E42, E43, C-3), My Mind’s Eye Quilting Bee 6x6 paper pad, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other: Turquoise Sea cardstock (Gina K Designs); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); teal decorative tape (Target); red striped tape (Freckled Fawn); sewing machine
