Bee Mine

I’m going to squeeze in a few more Valentine’s Day card before the big day on Thursday! This one is made using this week’s sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch and a sweet mini set from Lawn Fawn.

I started with a pale blue background and added a circle of hexagon (or honeycomb!) patterned paper on top. The tiny bee from the Bee Mine set sits over the hexagon circle, adhered with a dimensional dot. The bee was stamped on a scrap of cardstock and colored with Spectrum Noir markers. I added a little Stickles to the wings, too. The bee’s trail is stamped over the patterned paper circle—I love the sweet little heart within it! I ran a strip of red twill across the card and secured it with a knot, then stamped the “bee mine” sentiment above it in red ink.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Bee Mine stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug inks, Spectrum Noir markers (CT1, CT4, BT1, IG1, IG4), My Mind's Eye Quilting Bee 6x6 paper pad, Ranger Stardust Stickles, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Soft Sky cardstock (Stampin' Up!); red twill
