Heartfelt Sympathy

Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge.  I was inspired by the floral and leafy branch images on the inspiration card and used those elements to create a serene, single layer sympathy card.

I used one of the large leafy branch images from Papertrey Ink's Turning a New Leaf for the branch.  It's stamped in pale green ink on an oatmeal card base.  The subtle flecks in the paper (like the paper in the inspiration card) add an interesting detail to the simple design.  I stamped a trio of flowers from two different stamp sets in pink ink around the branch.  The center of each flower is dotted with Liquid Pearls for a little shine and dimension.

The sympathy sentiment from the Sending You set is stamped in gray ink on the upper right side of the card.  I like the softer look of gray for the sympathy message.

Materials Used:
Turning a New Leaf, Beautiful Blooms 2, Everyday Classics, and Sending You stamp sets (Papertrey Ink); Oatmeal cardstock (WPlus9); Memento Gray Flannel and Pear Tart inks (Tsukineko); Pink Lemonade ink (My Favorite Things); White Opal Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
