A Little Love Note

***** Scroll down or click HERE to see my post for the 350 Cards and Gifts Blog Hop. *****

Here's a quick design based on this week's sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I flipped the sketch on its side for my version.

I used a mini envelope made with kraft cardstock and the envelope die from the Tiny Note and Envie die set from Clear and Simple Stamps as my rectangular element. To dress up the plain kraft envelope, I used some postage-style stamps from the Air Mail stamp set along the bottom.

The "I love you" sentiment from the Icon Sentiments stamp set is stamped on the mini note card.  To add a pop of color, I stamped a single solid heart beneath the words red ink before placing the note card inside the envelope and securing it with foam tape.  I scattered a trio of sequins around the envelope for a little sparkle, then attached the panel to a red card base.

Materials Used:
Icon Sentiments, Air Mail, and Hearts Plus stamp sets, Dare to Be a Diva Red, Simply Blue-tiful, and Perfect Little Black Dress inks, Dare to Be a Diva Red, Kraft Like a Rockstar, and A Blanc Check cardstock, Tiny Note and Envie die set (Clear and Simple Stamps); sequins (Michaels); foam tape
