With Love

This week’s blogger challenge theme is “feminine touch.” I put together this feminine design using stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps along with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Intricate, elegant doilies say “feminine” to me, so I used one as a dominant element on my card. The Doily stamp from CSS is heat embossed in white on a gray panel as the base of my card design. I adhered a silver strip across the panel, covering some of the embossed doily. I stamped the “love you” sentiment from the Wrap-a-Rounds set in black ink on the silver strip, then adhered a pretty pink and gray plaid patterned strip next to the sentiment. The patterned paper is accented with a gray button tied with silver cord to bring in a little more shimmer and shine.  I adhered the panel to a pink card base for a final feminine element.

Materials Used:
Doily and Wrap-a-Rounds stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, I Steel Got It, Sterling Silver, and I'm a Princess Pink cardstock, silver cord (Clear and Simple Stamps); white pigment ink (WPlus9); Charleston designer paper (GCD Studios); white embossing powder (Michaels); gray button (My Favorite Things)
