Introducing Foodie Fun

Clear and Simple Stamps is kicking off the release of Collection 7 with a look at the Foodie Fun series, which includes a huge assortment of food-themed stamps and dies.  My project uses the new Foodie Fun and Foodie Fun Sentiments sets along with one of the new dies.

The sentiments in these sets are fabulous--and funny--so I wanted to be able to show off a whole bunch of them.  So, with that in mind, I made a set of 5 mini lunch box notes, each with a different image and sentiment pair.  I mixed and matched images and sentiments, keeping the basic colors and design elements the same.  The 3x3 cards are housed in a little box made from the new Party Favor 11 die--a slider box!  I cut the box from kraft cardstock and dressed it up with a piece of gingham patterned paper along with twine and a button.  The slider box is the perfect size for lots of things.  I have a bunch of ideas for it, so you'll be seeing it a lot . . .

Here's one pair of mini cards. The "awesome sauce" card shares several design elements with the hot dog card in the first photo.  The French fry one doesn't, but I couldn't resist adding it to the set!  I colored the fry box with Copic markers and cut it out, then adhered it to the white panel with foam tape.  The fry-toting ant and sentiment are stamped directly on the panel.

And, here are the final two cards.  The soft pretzel and the cupcake with sprinkles are solid image stamps.  I cut out the stamped images and adhered them to the red die cut circles with foam tape, then adhered the sentiments, stamped on kraft Favor Flags die cut pieces, beneath the images.
