Coffee Love

Here's my card for this month's Sketch for You to Try.  I used the Reverse Confetti I Like You stamp set (available along with the latest RC releases at i {heart} papers) along with a to go cup made with my Silhouette to put together this design.

I resized the coffee cup image to fit my round panel, then cut it from cardstock and assembled it.  The cup's shaded a bit with Spectrum Noir markers to add some depth and dimension.  I used dimensional dots to adhere it to the round panel, then stamped the sentiment next to the cup, inking the heart in red for contrast.

The stamped panel is adhered to a brown chevron patterned paper panel with a strip of brown faux suede ribbon across it.  After matting the panel with brown cardstock, I adhered it to a kraft card base.  For a fun detail, I cut apart a pearl flourish and added to the cardfront, positioning it so that it looks like steam from the cup.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papersReverse Confetti I Like You stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Rich Cocoa and Lady Bug inks, Spectrum Noir markers (BT1, BT2), Echo Park Bundle of Joy-Boy 6x6 paper pad, May Arts brown faux suede ribbon, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); stitched circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); taupe pearl flourish (Michaels)
