Peace Love Joy

Here’s a quick card I made in an attempt to think cool during this week’s seemingly endless heatwave. I used this week's sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch to make a wintery holiday card in cool shades of silver and blue.  The colors--and theme--also work for this week's CAS-ology challenge cue word "cool."

I stamped one of the smaller images from Papertrey Ink’s Rustic Snowflakes set multiple times along the left side of a dark blue panel in shimmery silver ink. Once the flakes were all stamped, I attached a tiny clear crystal to the center of each one for even more sparkle.

The “peace love joy” sentiment from the Fillable Frames #8 set is stamped next to the bottom snowflake. I adhered the panel to an easier to write on light blue card base to finish the card.

Materials Used:
Rustic Snowflakes and Fillable Frames #8 stamp sets, Enchanted Evening cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Bashful Blue cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Encore Silver ink (Tsukineko); clear crystals (Michaels)
