Yay for U

Here's my card for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use arrows.  It was the perfect opportunity to ink up my new Live Life Love set from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the "yay for U" sentiment on a kraft card base in an orangey-red ink, then stamped one of the set's arrows directly beneath the words.  Once the words were stamped, I measured and cut the arrow-like patterned paper panels to fit the space above and below the sentiment.  The panels are edged with brown cardstock for some contrast.  A trio of colorful enamel dots adds a final pop of color.

Materials Used:
Live Love Life stamp set (Papertrey Ink); Versafine Habanero ink (Tsukineko); Soft Suede cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Boy Crazy 6x6 paper pad, enamel dots (My Mind's Eye)
