Anniversary Muse

Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge.  I was inspired by the bright red embellishments and the simple layout seen on Laurie's card.

In my version I replaced the trio of flowers with a pair of  die cut red felt hearts.  The hearts are arranged on the left side of a fancy die cut panel.  I stamped Verve's Anniversary Plain Jane sentiment in red ink on the die cut panel before adhering it to the cardfront on top of a gray chevron panel and a shimmery silver panel.  The silver, gray, and red look great against the black cardfront!  I added a trio of sequins for a little more festive sparkle.

Materials Used:
Happy Anniversary Plain Jane stamp (Verve Stamps); Electric Red ink (My Favorite Things); Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Target); Sn@p 6x6 paper pad (Simple Stories); CutUps Circus Panel die (The Cat's Pajamas); heart dies (Lil' Inker Designs); red felt (Papertrey Ink); sequins

  1. I Love it - the thing I love about the Muse challenge is that you can really see a common thread in all the cards, but they are all so totally different.
