Happy Birthday, Lil' Inker Designs!

Lil' Inker Designs is celebrating its third birthday with a birthday themed challenge.  I've been a Lil' Inker fan from the beginning, so I put together this birthday card for the challenge using some Lil' Inker stamps and dies.

The card is based on the current sketch from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  My color scheme is inspired by gold and red star patterned party hat seen in the inspiration photo provided for the challenge.   I used the star birthday hat die from the Mini Party die set to make a festive hat for my focal image.  It's set on one of the round panels that are arranged in a line across the card on a star patterned paper panel.  I edged the patterned paper with gold strips before adhering the it to a white panel.

The "happy birthday" sentiment from the Mom and Dad Sentiments stamp set is stamped above the panel in red ink.  It's accented with a trio of gold faceted embellishments.

Materials Used:
Mom and Dad Sentiments stamp set and Mini Party dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Wild Cherry ink (My Favorite Things); Poppy Parade cardstock (Stampin' Up!); shimmery gold paper (Target); Hometown Summer 6x6 paper pad (Pink Paislee); circle punches (EK Success); gold faux metal embellishments (ki memories); foam tape
