You're Brilliant

Here's my card for this week's sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch.  I made a super bright, clean and simple card using the Lights Out stamp set from Mama Elephant.

I stamped the bulb and base on a white cardstock panel.  To give the bulb a glass-like look, I stamped the bulb image again, this time in Versamark, then coated the image with clear embossing powder and heat embossed.  Looks great IRL!  I used a fine tip pen to draw in a string for hanging the bulb, then scattered a trio of pink sequins around it.  The image panel is layered on a bright pink mat to match the sequins, then adhered to a golden yellow card base. The set's "I think you're brilliant" sentiment is stamped alongside the image panel in pink ink.

Materials Used:
Lights Out stamp set (Mama Elephant); Memento Dandelion, Rose Bud, and Gray Flannel inks (Tsukineko); So Saffron and Melon Mambo cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); clear embossing powder (Michaels); pink sequins (Avery Elle); black fine tip pen

  2. This card is brilliant! Love how you added the string for hanging, and the embossing gives it great texture and even more fun. Really love the stamp and sentiment together.
