From Pin to Paper with Clear and Simple Stamps

Today’s Clear and Simple Stamps group project features creations inspired by our Pinterest pins. I used this pin to create a teacher gift ensemble including a treat box and a card.

The treat box is what was inspired by the pin. Instead of using a clear tube as a ruler, I used CSS’s Party Favor 7 box. I die cut the box from yellow cardstock. Before assembling it, I stamped the “teacher” and “you rule” sentiments from the Rag Doll: Teacher Notes set on the box. I used a fine tip pen (and a ruler!) to mark off small lines at 1” intervals along the bottom of the front of the box, then stamped a number above each line using the larger number stamps from the Alpha Modern set. Once that was done, I assembled the box with the help of CSS’s Simple Adhesive and filled it with some chocolates.

To go with the box, I made a simple 3” x 3” square card. I stamped the “teacher” sentiment in red and the “you rule” beneath it in black. I stamped the tiny ruler image from the Rag Doll House: School set on a scrap of yellow cardstock and cut it out, then adhered it to the card and topped it with a red button.
