Give Thanks

Here's a quick card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge.  I picked this simple design and made mine a more fall-like version in honor of today being the first official day of fall.

I covered a piece of paper with a bunch of different distress inks, trying for a somewhat color gradient like appearance.  A piece of kraft cardstock die cut with the largest die from Papertrey Ink's Turning a New Leaf die set was attached over the inked paper panel, letting the colors show through the negative space.  Pretty!  I layered the leaf panel on a rust cardstock panel, then set it on a golden yellow panel.  I stamped the "give thanks" sentiment from the Fillable Frames #7 set next to the leaf in brown ink, then adhered the panel to a cream card base.  A few enamel dots scattered around the leaf give the card a little dimension.

Materials Used:
Fillable Frames #7 stamp set, Canyon Clay, Harvest Gold, Kraft, and Cream cardstock, Turning a New Leaf dies (Papertrey Ink); Wild Honey, Barn Door, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye distress inks (Ranger); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko); enamel dots (Freckled Fawn)
