Hey Cute Ghoul

This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Cool Shades challenge using teal, lime, purple, and gray. I used the colors and the current Deconstructed Sketch for this fun Halloween card in a somewhat non-traditional color scheme.

I die cut the witch from the Halloweenies set with the matching die from the Halloweenies die set and colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. She’s set over a piece of lime green chevron patterned paper with dimensional dots.

I mixed and matched a few paper scraps for the little fishtail flag strips that are clustered together on the left side of the card. I wrapped the panel with some green baker's twine to add a little texture before adhering it to the purple card base.  The “hey cute ghoul” sentiment is stamped at the bottom of the patterned panel in black ink.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Paper Smooches Halloweenies stamp set and Halloweenies dies, Crafter’s Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Spectrum Noir markers (BT2, BT3, BT4, BT5, BT6, CG1, CG2, CG3, CG4, LV1, LV2, LV3, BGR3, BGR4, BGR5), Doodlebug Design Halloween Parade 6x6 paper pad, Divine Twine green baker's twine, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other: Elegant Eggplant cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Hawaiian Shores and Simply Chartreuse cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
