Fall Sympathy

Here's a simple earth-toned sympathy card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge.  It's based on the sympathy card seen here.  I changed the design to a "triple time" stamped one and used two different stamp sets from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the leaves from PTI's Leaf Prints set in various Memento inks across a trio of cream panels held in place with some repositionable adhesive, being careful to switch up the placement of different color leaves for interest.  The "with heartfelt sympathy" sentiment from the Through the Trees set is stamped on the smallest panel. I probably should have done a better job of filling this panel, but I was worried about crowding the sentiment too much.

Once I was finished stamping, I separated the panels and matted them on rust cardstock panels, then lined them up on the rust card base.  I added a section of a cream pearl flourish for a final elegant touch.

Materials Used:
Through the Trees and Leaf Prints stamp sets (Papertrey Ink); Memento Peanut Brittle, Pistachio, Potter's Clay, and Cantaloupe inks (Tsukineko); Really Rust and Very Vanilla cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
; pearl flourish (Want2Scrap)
