Ten Minute Thinking of You

Here’s my card for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge. I used the colors to put together this thinking of you card using stamps from Papertrey Ink.

So that I could keep within the ten minute time limit, I picked a flower image that could be stamped without needing to be colored. The one from the All About You set was perfect. I stamped the solid image in orange ink and the outline in black, then cut out the image. I used foam tape to set it on a white panel, then stamped one of the set’s leaf images in green ink and cut it out so I could tuck it underneath the flower. The “thinking of you” sentiment is stamped directly beneath the flower in black ink.

I adhered the stamped panel to a green cardfront, right over a strip of orange gingham paper. A piece of a white paper doily is tucked underneath the left edge of the image panel. Once all of that was done, I had just enough time to thread a button with white twine for the center of the flower and to add a trio of orange enamel dots around the flower. From start to finish, this one took me 9 minutes, 55 seconds--just under the wire, but I made it!

Materials Used:
All About You stamp set, Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Orange Zest patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tangelo, Bamboo Leaves, and Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko); green button (Michaels); white twine (Hemptique); orange enamel dots (Doodlebug Design); white paper doily; foam tape
