You're Nauti-cool

Here’s my card for this week’s Muse challenge. I was inspired by the card’s color scheme and layout.

Muse39-Nauti-cool I used the colors to create a nautical themed design using a new anchor die I picked up on clearance over the weekend. The red die cut anchor is inlaid into a navy panel.

I adhered the anchor panel to the bottom of a white cardstock panel, then stamped the “you’re nauti-cool” sentiment from Avery Elle’s Knotty set in red ink along the side. I edged the panel with a narrow strip of navy cardstock to set it off, then used dimensional dots to adhere the panel to a card base with a strip of navy dotted patterned paper along the left edge.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Avery Elle Knotty stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Luxe Love Letter ink, Echo Park Rough and Tumble 6x6 paper pad, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other: Night of Navy and Real Red cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); anchor die (Lifestyle Crafts)
