Clean and Simple Joy

Here's my card for this week's combined Curtain Call Inspiration and CAS-ual Fridays challenges.  All of the sparkly metallic elements in the inspiration photo were the basis for my clean and simple design.

Wishing You Joy-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
I stamped the "wishing you joy" sentiment from the J*olly H*liday stamp set from The Cat's Pajamas in teal ink on a white panel, then went back and filled in the "o" in "joy" with the set's snowflake image, this time using gold metallic ink.

Once all the flakes were stamped, I went back and scattered a bunch of silver metallic sequins around the flakes.  I don't usually mix silver and gold, but I think it worked out okay on this festive card.  The stamped panel is layered on a pair of mats to coordinate with the stamped images, then adhered to a kraft card base.  I completed the design with a tiny golden yellow crystal placed at the center of the snowflake in the word "joy."

Materials Used:
J*olly H*liday stamp set (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Luxe Teal Zeal ink, Delicata Gold ink (Tsukineko); white cardstock (Bazzill); Blue Bayou cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); silver sequins (Treehouse Studios); golden yellow crystal (Studio 18)
