Have a Cup of Cheer

Here’s my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch. It’s also doubling as my entry for Verve’s current Diva Dare to feature a common shape. I picked circles, which are prominent design elements in this layout.

Have a Cup of Cheer-Designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Verve StampsI went with traditional holiday colors on this one, using a red and green plaid designer paper for the large circle panel. It’s layered over an olive panel. Both panels are matted with celery cardstock and adhered to a kraft card base.

The smaller circle panel is stamped with the “have a cup of cheer” sentiment from Verve’s Holiday Wishes set. I added a pair of die cut and stamped to go cups to the top of the panel, then set it over the round plaid panel with a pair of fishtail flag strips.

Materials Used:
Holiday Wishes stamp set, Cup of Cheer dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Love Letter inks (Tsukineko); Real Red, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Season’s Greetings 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); circle dies (Spellbinders); Die-namics Fishtail Flag Stax and Fishtail Flag Stax Layers dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
