Spotted Season's Greetings

Here's a wintery design for the current Lawnscaping challenge to use polka dots on your creation.  I recently got Lawn Fawn's Winter in the Park set, so I decided to put it to use for the challenge.

Season's Greetings-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn FawnI made the set's bench my focal image.  I stamped the snow image in gray ink on a blue dotted panel with some torn shimmery white cardstock strips along the bottom, then masked the snow and stamped the bench over it in red pigment ink.  The pigment ink gives really nice coverage over the dotted paper.  To fill in the snow, I stamped the snow image again on a scrap of shimmery white cardstock and cut it out, then adhered it to the top of the bench.  A trio of stamped silver snowflakes fill in the white space above the bench.

I matted the image panel on red cardstock, then adhered it to a light blue card base at an angle along with a strip of gray dotted paper.  A piece of paper doily is tucked under the left edge of the gray paper.  The panels are accented with a twine-tied red button.  I had just enough room left at the bottom of the panel to stamp the set's "season's greetings" sentiment in red ink.
