Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 198-Good Times Are Ahead

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I rotated the sketch and put together a clean and crisp masculine design using stamps and dies from Avery Elle.

Good Times Are Ahead-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Avery Elle
Instead of using an image, I used a sentiment as the focal point for my design.  I picked the "good times are ahead" sentiment from Avery Elle's Aim High set.  It's stamped in navy pigment ink (yes, I'm still obsessing over my Memento Luxe inks . . .) on a kraft panel.  I layered the panel on an orange cardstock mat, then set it on an orange striped patterned paper panel.  A navy die cut arrow, cut with the coordinating Aim High dies, is tucked underneath the right side of the image panel. I added a trio of orange enamel dots around the sentiment for a little dimension.  The striped panel is adhered to a piece of kraft cardstock, then set on a navy blue card base.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
