'Tis the Season to Be Jolly

Here’s my card for this week’s Muse challenge. I loved the beautiful snowflake focal image on the inspiration card, so I designed my card with that in mind.

My card features the pretty CutUps Snowflake die from The Cat’s Pajamas front and center. I cut the snowflake from aqua glitter paper, then set it inside a piece of lighter aqua paper also cut with the same snowflake die. The “tis the season to be jolly” sentiment from the J*lly H*liday stamp set is stamped just beneath the flake in aqua ink. I used foam tape to adhere the panel to an aqua card base. Before adhering the panel, I attached a piece of silver paper to the card base, positioned so that the silver would show through the openings in the die cut snowflake. A clear crystal placed at the snowflake’s center gives it even more festive sparkle and shine.

Don't forget about the big sale going on now through Cyber Monday at The Cat's Pajamas.  All stamps and dies (including the ones I used for this card) are on sale for 40% off.  Happy shopping!

Materials Used:
J*lly H*liday stamp set, CutUps Snowflake die (The Cat’s Pajamas); Vivid Beach Glass ink (Clearsnap); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); silver paper (Target); aqua glitter cardstock, clear crystal (Michaels); foam tape
