Woodland Holiday Cheer

Here's a simple winter design based on the current Deconstructed Sketch.  I've been wanting to use the polar bear image from the new Party Elements:  Winter Woodland set from Clear and Simple Stamps and this layout was perfect for showcasing the sweet bear pair.

Woodland Holiday Cheer-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps
The bears are stamped in white pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder for a nice contrast against the My Style Blueprint panel.  To ground them, I added a strip of torn White Pearl cardstock beneath their feet.  A few small snowflakes are stamped randomly above the bears in silver ink.

I matted the stamped panel on gray cardstock, then added the "holiday cheer" sentiment at the bottom of the panel.  It's set on top of a light blue dotted patterned paper panel that I wrapped with some white twine.

I adhered the layered panels on another My Style Blueprint panel.  The machine stitching around the panel's edges makes a nice frame for the layered panels.

Materials Used:
Party Elements: Winter Woodlands stamp set, You're Such a Gray-cious Host ink, My Style Blueprint, I Steel Got It, and White Pearl cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and Encore Silver inks (Tsukineko); Bundle of Joy-Dots and Stripes 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); white twine (Hemptique); white embossing powder (Michaels); sewing machine; foam tape
