Happy Anniversary

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I needed an anniversary card for my mom and dad's 45th anniversary this week, so I used the sketch to put one together.

Happy Anniversary-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
I used a classic and elegant red, black, and silver color combination for my design.  Verve's "happy anniversary" Plain Jane is stamped on the white panel in black pigment ink for a nice, dark image.  I carefully adhered a strip of silver glitter tape (a remnant from a previous project found on my desk during my ongoing clean up efforts!) underneath the words.  The sentiment is accented with a pair of die cut red hearts.  The top heart is adhered with foam tape for dimension.  I layered the panel on a black mat for a framed look, then attached the panel to an easy to write on white card base.

Materials Used:
Happy Anniversary Plain Jane (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Real Red and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white cardstock (Michaels); Of the Heart dies (Lil' Inker Designs); silver glitter tape (American Crafts); foam tape
