Good Day, Sunshine

Here’s my card for this week’s Muse challenge. I loved the big sun and cloud Laurie used as her focal image, so I used a scaled down sun and cloud for my version of the card.

Good Day, Sunshine-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsThe sun and cloud were die cut with dies from Lil’ Inker Designs. I used felt for the cloud to add a little texture. The die cut pieces are adhered to a piece of blue dotted paper set along the left edge of a white cardstock panel. I ran a pair of washi tape strips along the bottom of the patterned paper, then stamped the “good day, sunshine” sentiment on the bottom strip of tape. The finished panel is layered on a coordinating aqua card base.

Materials Used:
Sun Sentiments stamp set, sun and cloud dies (Lil’ Inker Designs); Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Lemon Drop cardstock (My Favorite Things); white cardstock, white felt, yellow chevron washi tape (Michaels); Love Me Do “Love Takes Flight” designer paper (My Mind’s Eye); orange striped washi tape; foam tape
