We Go Together

Here’s my card for the current sketch at Seize the Sketch. I put together a fun, food themed card that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day.

We Go Together-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps
I used the burger and fries images from the Foodie Fun stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps for my card. They’re set on a pair of layered notch-ended strips adhered to a golden yellow patterned paper panel. Each of the panels is matted with red cardstock for a nice pop of color. I even machine stitched around the edges of the patterned paper panel. I’d forgotten that I’d rounded the corners of the panel until I started to sew, but I think I did okay around the curves!

Once all of the pieces were in place on the kraft card base, I stamped the “we go together like burgers and fries” sentiment from the coordinating Foodie Fun Sentiments set at the top of the patterned paper panel in black ink.
