Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 209-I Only Have Eyes for You

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I used the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Guess Who set for my card.

I Only Have Eyes for You-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from My Favorite ThingsI colored the cute girlie with Copic markers, trying my hand at giving a pleated look to her top. Not so great, but I tried . . . After coloring the image, I cut it out and used dimensional dots to adhere it to a white panel. The set’s “I only have eyes for you” sentiment was stamped along the right edge of the panel in black ink.

I paired the image with a piece of heart covered patterned paper. After adhering a strip of coordinating pink cardstock diagonally across the patterned paper, I layered the panel on a red card base. I matted the image on a piece of red cardstock to set it off from the background, then added it on to the card. I tucked a little blue cardstock tab underneath the left edge of the image panel. It’s accented with a pair of contrasting red enamel dots.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
