Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 212-Cheers to You

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I used the sketch to make a festive card with stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps.

Cheers to You-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple StampsI used a classic black, white, and gold color scheme for my card. I adhered a panel of CSS’s 24 Karat Gold cardstock along the left edge of a black panel, then added the sentiment panel on top. The “cheers to you” sentiment from the By the Glass Sentiments set was heat embossed in gold for extra sparkle. I die cut a pair of glasses using the By the Glass dies and filled the glasses in with the matching stamped images from the By the Glass stamp set, then arranged the glasses at the left side of the sentiment panel. A trio of sparkly sequin “bubbles” above the glass completes the design.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
