Teacher, You're the Best

Here's my card for the current sketch at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  I made a long, skinny card perfect for giving to a favorite teacher.

Teacher, You're the Best-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps For the three elements along the left side of the card, I used three different school themed images from two different stamp sets from Clear and Simple Stamps.  The images were colored with Copic markers and either die cut (the apple) or fussy cut, including the crayon, which looks like it's directly on the cardfront.  I couldn't decide what color to make it, so I tried three different versions of the crayon before settling on the blue one!  The pencil and apple were adhered to the panel using foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment next to the images using black ink.  The panel was matted on red cardstock and adhered to a kraft card base.
