The Whole Box of Crayons

Here's a cheery design for the current sketch at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  This one came together quickly with a bunch of cardstock scraps.

The Whole Box of Crayons-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
I trimmed a rainbow array of cardstock scraps to narrow strips and arranged them in rainbow order on a white cardstock panel.  To go with the stripes, I used a sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Dream in Color set.  The set's crayon box sentiment was stamped on a white panel in black pigment ink.  After it dried, I matted the sentiment on black cardstock and adhered it over the rainbow stripes.  I matted the larger panel on black cardstock, then adhered the panel to a white card base.  A trio of sequins added a little sparkle to the simple design.

Materials Used:
Dream in Color stamp set (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Real Red, Only Orange, Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Brilliant Blue, Lovely Lilac, and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white cardstock, silver sequins (Michaels)
