A Happy Hello

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the floral elements and soft spring colors from the inspiration photo with the major elements of the sketch to come up with this sweet design.

A Happy Hello-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from WPlus9The pretty flowers are from the new WPlus9 Spring Blooms set I just got from i{heart} papers.  I die cut the flower shapes with the coordinating dies, then stamped the flower and leaf images using Memento Luxe inks.  These inks give such good coverage for solid image stamps!  I arranged the flowers at the bottom of a white oval die cut.  The "a happy hello" sentiment from then new Hand Written Hello set was stamped at the top of the die cut in gray pigment ink.

I adhered the matted oval to a white panel with a piece of pink dotted patterned paper at the bottom.  The patterned paper is edged with some ivory pom pom trim.  The finished panel was adhered to a white card base using dimensional dots.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  WPlus9 Spring Blooms and Hand Lettered Hello stamp sets and Spring Blooms dies, Tsukineko Memento Luxe Rose Bud, Angel Pink, Pear Tart, and Gray Flannel inks, My Mind's Eye Now and Then-Dorothy 6x6 paper pad, May Arts ivory mini pom pom trim, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Blushing Bride cardstock (Michaels); oval dies (Spellbinders)
