Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 220-Hello There

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge!  I went with a floral design again this week, but with a twist of watercolor style this time.

Hello There card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from WPlus9
I used stamps from the WPlus9 Spring Blooms set for my image panel.  I inked the stamps (flowers, flower centers, and leaves) with dye inks, then spritzed them with water before stamping on a circle of watercolor paper.  The spritzed inks have a soft watercolor like look without having to watercolor!

I matted the finished image panel on an oval circle, thenh adhered the circle to a pale pink panel. After matting the paper on olive cardstock to match the mat under the image panel, I adhered the panel to a piece of dotted patterned paper.  I stamped the "hello there" sentiment from the Hand Lettered Hello set on an olive cardstock strip in black pigment ink, then layered it over the cardfront.  It's accented with a trio of green enamel dots.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
