You're an All Star

This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a designer draft challenge. I used sketch along with the My Guy set for this masculine card.

You're an All Star card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches
I die cut a tag from kraft cardstock to use as my focal image panel. After adding a piece of a red circle to the tag, I clustered a trio of sports themed images from the My Guy set on the tag. The baseball is attached with a dimensional dot to add a little interest to the grouping. I topped the tag with a piece of twine, tied in a simple bow.

The tag is layered over a panel made from two colors of blue cardstock. I adhered the tag panel to a piece of plaid patterned paper along with some red circles. When I first saw the sketch, I wasn’t too sure about how the circle elements would work, but now that I see them here, I really like how they look!

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Paper Smooches My Guy stamp set; Crafter’s Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Fancy Pants Be Different 6x6 paper pad; Hemptique Spring Bloom 2 hemp twine; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other: Real Red and Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Lake House and Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); markers (Copic); Traditional Tag Stax dies (My Favorite Things)
