You Warm My Heart

Here’s my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. It’s somewhat of a loose interpretation of the layout, but I think it still works!

You Warm My Heart card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink
I made a simple coffee themed thank you card using the sketch. I used the mug image from Papertrey Ink’s Warm Happiness Too stamp set as my focal image. The cup was die cut from white cardstock, then stamped with the outline and filler images using pigment inks.

The wavy lines along the right side of the sketch are represented by the clear crystal flourish “steam” extending out from the top of the coffee mug.  I stamped the set’s “you warm my heart” sentiment next to the cup directly on the kraft panel. The panel was layered on a red mat, then adhered to a brown card base.

Materials Used:
Warm Happiness Too stamp set, Warm Happiness dies (Papertrey Ink); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa and Love Letter inks (Tsukineko); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Real Red and Soft Suede cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); clear crystal flourish (Michaels); foam tape
